Rasmus Astrup is a partner and design principal of SLA, a renowned Danish Nature Based Design Studio. SLA’s projects have a strong emphasis on biodiversity, sustainability, ecosystem services and the transformative potential of landscape. Rasmus Astrup leads SLA’s biggest international projects from large scale masterplans to small rooftops, carrying the interdisciplinary design studios values into new climates, clients, and communities.
Since 2019, Rasmus has been partner-in-charge for SLA’s mega masterplan Downsview in Toronto, where SLA is pat of the team transforming the previous airport into a vibrant, resilient, and social neighbourhood.
