ARCHUS

Architecture school is a big animal. Like many big animals, it is very caring and has the best intentions, but it is hampered by its size. Archus is here to ensure the animal does not eat the students alive.

We remind students of why they initially came to architecture school. Whether through design competitions, lecture series, or exhibitions we help focus student's enthusiasm on the potentials of the field.

Due to the all consuming nature of the animal, we all need to be alerted to the existence of life outside of school. Via social events, professional and academic affiliations archus provides a venue for students to forget, to connect and to cut loose.

Being forgetful, the animal often neglects the day to day details. Archus attempts to provide what falls between the cracks. By providing the mundane (e.g. plotters, phones, directories, furniture, and even kitchen supplies) we try to make each day a bit easier.

Focus, distraction, and the basics, this is what archus is all about (along with animal protection, of course).
