Current Instructor: 
An introduction to a range of design research methodologies that are used in the environmental design professions. The class explores a variety of methodologies for conducting design research, and how the methods may be applied to design projects. Class exercises engage students with framing the research question, providing tools and methods for research and design development, planning the design process, and evaluating proposed solutions. Case studies are used to demonstrate application of the methods to real projects.
